September is Red Cross National Preparedness Month

Did you know you can help the Red Cross prepare for emergencies with your cell phone? This September, during National Preparedness Month, The Wireless Foundation will run a Text 2HELP™ program to allow subscribers of participating wireless carriers to donate $5 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund by simply texting the keyword “GIVE” to “2HELP” (24357). You can help the victims of thousands of disasters across the country each year by making a financial gift to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, which enables the Red Cross to provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to victims of disaster.
