Paul Mitchell Schools Raise Over $1.2 Million at Magic of Memories Event

 Once again the future professionals from the Paul Mitchell Schools exceeded all expectations...raising over $1.2 million!!! This was even after raising $100K for Haiti relief just prior to this campaign! Year after year these future professionals show up, lead by example, and inspire us all to make a difference in the lives of those who need help most. I feel so blessed to have the embrace of all the “Paul Mitchell People”...simply the coolest people on earth!
 Joining me for a magical evening were several other celebrity guests and co-hosts including John Paul DeJoria (representing John Paul Mitchell Systems, Patron, and Food 4 Africa), Angus Mitchell (co-owner of John Paul Mitchell Systems and Angus M Salons), Donny Osmond (representing Children's Miracle Network), Devin Alexander (representing Larry King Cardiac Foundation), Kathy Buckley (No Limits), Peter Vidmar (Olympic gold medalist), Alexis Jones (Survivor: Fans vs. Favorites) and Bobby Bailey (co-founder of Invisible Children, founder of The Brave).
Grand total raised is a whopping $1,213,453!!!!! Here is a list of the top 10 fundraising schools:

Top 10 Future Professionals - In addition to the thousands of cut-a-thons, fashion shows, bake sales, car washes, casual days, and other "FUNraisers" held by the schools, many Future Professionals raised money individually, by asking for donations from family, friends, and everyone they knew. The top 10 Future Professionals received a trip to California, where they were recognized at the Magic of Memories Dinner.

 My favorite moment was seeing two of Paul Mitchell’s finest on stage with the ever-boyish Donny Osmond! Margaret Cromeans, from Paul Mitchell The School - San Diego, told me other than having her kids, this was the best moment of her life...being cheek to cheek with Donny as he sang Puppy Love!
As for Giulio Veglio, owner of several Paul Mitchell Schools, he was the only person in the crowd who knew Puppy Love WAS NOT Donny's first number one hit! Go Away Little Girl was, so Donny serenaded Giulio, who blushed like a schoolgirl center stage!
