I feel beautiful just being NEXT to Michelle Pfeiffer and Iman in the pictures! Wow! Thanks People Magazine for listing me in your Most Beautiful issue. I'm pretty sure this is the only time I'll ever be on the same page with Taylor Swift and Rhianna! Sandra Bullock is on the cover with her intelligence, compassion, humility, grace, and humanity. She sets a beauty standard that goes beyond her looks. So grateful and blessed. Thank you People Magazine!
“Ms. Gibbons, it takes a lot more than a good voice to be successful as a broadcaster.”
Those words from University of South Carolina broadcast professor Richard Uray have stuck with Leeza Gibbons for nearly 40 years.
“Of course, I didn’t even have a good voice, that’s what was so ironic,” the 1978 broadcasting graduate says. “But I learned the lesson of ‘more.’ And I heard it in the classroom and outside. It’s more than your academic training; it’s more than the grades on your transcript. It’s being a part of your community. It’s finding your place, how do you want to serve, what do you want to stand for.
Leeza Wins Celebrity Apprentice, Brings Grand Prize Home to South Carolina
CONGRATULATIONS, LEEZA!! I am ecstatic that Leeza Gibbons won "The Celebrity Apprentice." There was no other competitor like her. She was an amazing team leader for every single task, won the most tasks, raised a ton of money and is just an all-around great person. She completely deserved this win!
I was truly honored to work with Leeza for this final task. At the live finale, everyone was on the edge of their seats re-watching the episode and reliving that last challenge in Orlando. Watching it made me want to go back just to escape this dreary and cold weather. Anyways, getting back to the episode, I was grateful to Leeza for supporting and trusting me by putting me in charge of finishing the film. I felt that our entire team just came together and worked in sync the entire time. Leeza is great at delegating responsibilities, and that is such an effective character trait for a good manager.
